DMA Design (now Rockstar North) is a British video game developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The company was founded as Acme Software in Dundee in 1984, by classmates David Jones, Russell Kay, Steve Hammond, and Mike Dailly, and was renamed DMA Design in 1987. DMA Design have made a lot of games however their most popular ones are Grand Theft Auto 5, Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
